NAR’s legal team is building a highlight reel

Splits and Caps Daily: Action for Agents

📈 Market Move:

NAR Notches Another

NAR’s lawyers are on fire right now — like, Jordan-in-the-Playoffs hot. A Pennsylvania judge just tossed out a lawsuit that challenged NAR’s mandatory membership rules, making it the third legal win for the National Association of Realtors in July alone.

Here’s the quick and dirty: A broker from Allentown claimed it was anti-competitive to require agents to join NAR just to access the MLS. He also said the policy hit minority agents harder due to the fees. But the judge wasn’t buying it — said the fees serve a legitimate purpose, and the plaintiff wasn’t actually being excluded from anything.

The case? Dismissed with prejudice — which is legal speak for “don’t come back.”

Add this to last week’s dismissal in Texas and another antitrust win against Homie Tech earlier this month, and NAR’s legal armor is looking pretty bulletproof right now.

Bubble Trouble: Jacuzzis Used to Be a Flex. Now They Lower Value. Too much upkeep. Too many questionable bacteria. Unless it’s brand-new, buyers see it as a problem in a hot tub costume.

📚 Book Recommendation:

“What If It Does Work Out?” by Susie Moore—You know that idea you keep ignoring? The one that pops up when you're in the shower, walking the dog, or halfway through a boring listing appointment? Yeah — that one.

Susie Moore wrote a whole book for people like us — the “I’ve got something cool in mind but also 42 excuses why I’m not doing it yet” crowd. This is a quick, no-fluff read that basically grabs you by the shoulders and goes:

“Hey genius — what if it actually worked?”

Whether it’s starting a side hustle, launching a new brand, or just finally posting that video you’ve been overthinking for 3 weeks — this book gives you the mindset and tactics to stop spectating and start executing.

You don’t need permission. You need momentum. This book gives you that.

Bottom line: Read this if you’re tired of being “almost ready.”

One win a day keeps the doubt away.
