Tech killed the travel agent. Will it kill real estate agents too?
Short answer: Not likely.
At the T3 Leadership Summit, 1000WATT CEO Brian Boero basically said, “Look, people aren’t waking up in the morning trying to reinvent real estate—they just want to buy or sell a home without losing their minds.”

So while the industry’s safe (for now), Boero dropped a warning:
Agents need to stop coasting. If consumers don’t feel understood, someone will build a tool that does—and then it’s game over.
Bottom line:
Consumers aren’t ditching agents for tech yet, but if you’re in the game, you better start thinking like they do—or risk becoming the next Blockbuster.
